Turk I is an ottoman sorta table (get the name connection?) constructed primarily of spalted wormy beech. The legs are cherry, the bottom is (gasp) a piece of red oak plywood (shameful, I know, but I did it!) and it’s lined with recycled western red cedar siding. If you intend to use it very much for storage, you probably won’t want to pile too much stuff on it. But you can if you want.
