Product Description
The legs on this piece are cherry. When I shaped them, I followed the naturally curved grain – the wood came from a short, curved piece – and thus the name. The top is a multifaceted assembly of beech, and the shelf is one solid piece of beech.
This piece is an example of how the process works for me sometimes. Originally, the legs were constructed of laminated recycled redwood, shaped to a parenthetical curve. I decided I didn’t like them, so I tore them off and rebuilt it the way I liked it.
