Product Description
Plowbird is made up of an assembly of endgrain spalted beech. I just started laying pieces out on the bench, and after a while this shape started to come clear to me. A bit of shaping, gluing, invisible reinforcing, and sanding, then placement on a lilac column resting on what I think is a piece from an old plow dug up from the old homestead out back, really makes this bird fly.
She’s intended to be purely ornamental; if you set anything on her, please do it directly over the column.
